What is Firefox

  • Firefox is the trusted Web browser of choice for hundreds of millions of people around the world.
  • Firefox puts you in control of your online life and puts everything you need in a personal and customized Web experience.
  • We believe the Web should be accessible to all so we make Firefox for Windows, Mac and Linux and localize it in around 90 languages with help from the global Mozilla community.
  • Firefox has a streamlined and extremely intuitive design to let you focus on any content, app or website – a perfect balance of simplicity and power.

#WeRunWithFirefox

We always tried to our best to reach out the people, so 1st time ever this new thing we have initiated that, we target the people’s from different industries like medical, stationery, photo studio, cyber cafe, printing press, etc. Me and my team have made small groups so at the same time we can reach out many people’s and will let them better understand about Firefox and its better use.  Each day we go to meet different industry peoples so we can take feedback from individual and will make it better.
We target Firefox to download on Desktops, Laptops, Android Phones, OS Like, Windows,MAC,Linux, etc.

I was thinking to give some name to this initiative so that it will inspire others to do the same thing in their region/area and this chain will be work continuously not only for this particular period of time campaign but also whole year. This seems to be running event for all of us to do campaign for #Firefox so why don’t we named it #WeRunWithFirefox, the word itself tell everything.

When I have share this name on my 1st Facebook post to let my other community members know about this initiative, and when they read about this they all loved it, many members pinged me personally and they all appreciated the name given.Read More »

Reason :

A successful Student Ambassador is enthusiastic about and familiar with Firefox and Mozilla, experience planning events and organizing school activities, having some programming and Web Literacy can be helpful as well, Ambassadors should be comfortable answering basic questions about Web browsers, Firefox features, Firefox OS and how to get involved with Mozilla. There are many FSA’s who join Mozilla but don’t know about all the contribution areas and the responsibilities associated within those areas.

Purpose :

Teach FSA about all contribution areas and make them aware about Mozilla and their responsibilities, so that they can contribute and give their best in their particular field of interest.
